So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. -1 Corinthians 10:31
I have been married to the love of my life and my best friend, Mike for 32 years. We have been blessed with three amazing grown children, Tony, Danny and Alyssa and I am passionate about family. I also enjoy cooking and baking; you might even call them my “love language”.
I really want to share recipes and things I have learned about cooking so that they won’t get lost. It is surprising how many traditions and memories are connected to food. I wish my mom would have left some journals so I could have some record of the things that she wanted to pass on to me but I just have to go on what I remember. Mom was an amazing cook as is my mother in law, and they taught me so much over the years. Then I have spent the last 2 years really researching and experimenting with recipes and techniques and have learned so many things that I wish I would have known when my children were young and I was cooking for a houseful.
Often times when I am asked for a recipe, I don’t really have an actual recipe or it isn’t written down or even if it is written somewhere, it has evolved and the written recipe does not represent what they are looking for. I am creating this blog as a way to organize my recipes and clean them up so they are not lost. I am happy to share with anyone who is interested. My sincere hope is that this blog will bless others.
Please keep in mind that this blog is a work in progress at this point though since technology is not my first language, so I beg your patience.
